Qualifications:

• Possess at least a high school diploma

• Preferably with relevant experience

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team environment

• Has a very good eye for details

• Has the ability to multi-task effectively, responding to changing business priorities and deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Display Management: A store merchandiser is responsible for creating appealing and visually attractive displays of fruits and vegetables. They arrange produce in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner and ensure that it is fresh and well-stocked throughout the day.

2. Product Ordering, Inventory Management and Receiving: They coordinate with warehouse office and assess product demand to ensure an adequate supply of fruits and vegetables. They monitor inventory levels, proper receiving of item, implementing FIFO to maintain freshness, and identify and address any issues with product quality or availability.

3. Pricing and Promotions: Store merchandisers determine appropriate pricing strategies for fruits and vegetables based on Price Change Adjustments sent by warehouse office. They may also be responsible for implementing promotional campaigns or discounts to boost sales.

4. Quality Control: They are responsible for inspecting fruits and vegetables for quality, freshness, and adherence to food safety standards. They ensure that all produce meets the store’s quality criteria and take corrective actions in case of any quality issues.

5. Customer Service: Store merchandisers interact with customers, assisting them with product selection, answering questions, and providing information about the produce. They may also handle customer complaints or concerns.
